Supplies Needed
-Worsted Weight #4 (I used Red Heart Soft “Wheat” for the Pup, a hand dyed yarn for girl clothes, and Red Heart Super Saver “Icelandic” for boy clothes)
-Estimated yardage: 325 yds for the Pup, 55 yds for each set of clothing
Black/ white embroidery floss or thin yarn{for around eyes, eyelashes, and mouth}
-US G(4 mm) Furls Hook
Polyfil Stuffing-Needle for sewing
-Optional: Pins for holding pieces in place for sewing
Skill Level
Confident Advanced Beginner (You should have a basic knowledge of amigurumi construction)
Finished crochet dog is 9″ tall and 8″ long
The girl outfit is a super charming ruffled sun hat with ear holes and a criss- cross design sun dress with a ruffled bottom.
The boy outfit is a cute baseball cap with ear holes and T-shirt.
Both outfits are included in the pattern. In the future, I will also be designing new outfits for purchase separately.
Also included is a PDF “Adoption Sheet.” You can print it on regular paper or for extra sturdiness on cardstock. It gives a little extra joy for the child or you to choose and fill out the sections for the pup.
